Hopefully you have experienced how āsana practice can affect your mind: Do you feel calmer afterwards? Clearer in your thinking? Less agitated or depressed? The limbic system of the brain (which includes the amygdala, hippocampus, and hypothalamus) involves memory, emotion, motivation, and learning, among other functions. Let's focus on ways to apply āsana specifically to address this part of the brain. This workshop will involve all categories of āsana, and is for seasoned Iyengar Yoga practitioners with at least 1 year of study.
